Owners
Fred Astaire Dance Studio Birmingham owners Fabian and Jackie Sanchez are proud and excited to bring the magic of Fred Astaire Dance Studios to the beautiful Birmingham community. Fabian and Jackie have been teaching people to dance in the Birmingham area for many years, while accumulating many top teacher awards from the Fred Astaire organization. In addition to their many honors for teaching dance, Fabian and Jackie have also achieved many prestigious titles in their competitive dance career. Fabian has been World Mambo Champion, Fred Astaire National Champion, and a United States National Finalist. Jackie has been a Fred Astaire National Finalist, as well as a Fred Astaire Regional Champion. Fabian has also been featured on the ABC hit television show Dancing With the Stars with Academy Award winning actress Marlee Matlin, as well as appearing as a Salsa choreographer for So You Think You Can Dance.

Co-founded by the legendary Fred Astaire, Fred Astaire Dance Studios set the standard of excellence in social dance instruction. From Ballroom, Latin, and Swing to Salsa and Argentine Tango, we offer all styles of dance lessons for any age and ability in a fun atmosphere.
We, who have the privilege of carrying the trade name Fred Astaire Dance Studios, are immensely proud to do so. We have an obligation to uphold the fine reputation of the master dancer in everything we do from the moment you walk through our door for the first time until you leave as a better dancer. Our mission is to "enrich the lives of everyone associated with our company."
